Due to a serious water leak within the property above the Assay Office in Hatton Garden, we have been forced to close the Greville Street counter.
Contractors are on site, working to fix the leak and make the premises safe for our staff and customers, however at the moment it is not possible to drop off or collect packets from Greville Street.
We understand that this is an incredibly frustrating experience, we are working hard to be up and running again as soon as possible, and apologise unreservedly for any impact on you or your business.
- All of the packets in our care have now been marked, and securely transported to the counter at Goldsmiths’ Hall (Gutter Lane), where they are available for collection.
- Currently laser hallmarking may be the only option if your sponsor mark is held at Greville St. We are working hard to resolve this.
- If you have submitted a packet online for delivery to Greville St then you can still submit the packet to Goldsmith's Hall without any adjustment.
