Fairtrade Fortnight runs 27 February - 12 March.  Coinciding with this period is the submissions stage to the first ever Fairtrade Design Awards for emerging designers.  

Ingle & Rhode invited UK-based jewellery students, apprentices, post graduates, and those at the start of their jewellery careers, to apply for the Awards and submit a design for a wedding ring, an engagement ring or a wedding and engagement ring set.

A team of judges, including our very own Dave Merry, will judge hundreds of entries to create a shortlist of up to 20 finalists.  This will then be put to a public vote and the winners will be announced in April.

Prizes include £500, work experience and the chance to have winning designs made in Fairtrade gold - which we will of course be hallmarking!
