Changes to packet service level not possible from 7 December 2022


In the submission process summary at the end of submitting a packet online, on the submission and service guide page and the lead times page we state that it may not be possible to change the service on a packet once received.

From 7 December 2022 we are not able to adjust your packet.  We are implementing this rule due to the time taken adjusting packets and the volume currently being processed.

We acknowledge that postal, train strikes, and increased demand have led to longer lead times.  We will be working tirelessly to complete all work we currently have in before the Christmas break as per our Christmas aims already released – which may be further hampered by industrial action.
